The Reality of AI Adoption in Japan
0%

87% of Japanese companies
have yet to feel real results from adopting AI.

Japanese companies that felt AI exceeded expectations: just 13%.
Compared with 51% in the US and 50% in the UK.
The problem isn't that companies haven't adopted AI. They adopt it and still get no results. That's the real issue.

5%

“I learned how to use it,
but it had nothing to do with my own job.”

88% of employees use AI at work.
But the share who have genuinely changed how they work isjust 5%.
It's not the employees' fault.
The training simply never engaged with their real work.

12%

The week after training, no one opened an AI tool

Employees who have received adequate AI training:just 12%.
You hear “that was helpful.” But the next week, no one opens an AI tool.

30%

Does it end at “that was useful”?

Demand for AI training is surging. But the share of providers who can deliver isjust 30%.
High survey scores mean nothing if, six months on, the way people work hasn't changed.

FAQ

FAQ

How is the program length decided?

The standard is three months (15 hours). Depending on participants' prior AI experience, it can extend up to six months, with a firm minimum of 10 hours.

Can the program be tailored
to my company?

Within the package, from workflow interviews → exercises that use your own tasks, we tailor it to fit you. Fully bespoke development is not allowed under the subsidy rules, but in practice the content ties directly to your daily work.

Is the subsidy guaranteed?

It depends on requirements such as the ten labor management items. A certified social insurance and labor consultant runs a preliminary assessment. When the requirements are met, the approval rate over the past two years has been high, based on the consultant's record.

What is the minimum number of participants?

We can run it for a single participant, though the subsidy benefit is greatest with two or three people (up to 300,000 yen per person).

Can we take part from outside Tokyo?

Yes.Combining online and in person sessions, we deliver nationwide, with experience at a ryokan on Sado Island.

When is payment due?

A 50% deposit, with the balance in installments. The subsidy is disbursed about six months after training ends, the standard lead time set by the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare.

Can the training be delivered in English?

Yes. Our representative holds Eiken Grade 1 and lived in the United States for five and a half years, so training and materials can be delivered in English.
